Imphal, November 01:
The New Keithelmanbi Area Chief Association has clamped an indefinite ban on the Imphal-Noney bus service for for violating the hill districts bandh called by the KSO and supported by others to protest the killing of three students.
Condemning the transporters for violating the bandh call, the Association in a statement accused the Noney Bus Transport Association of warning Kuki passengers not to board their buses.
Endorsing the stand of the chiefs, the KSO, Gen Hqs today accused the transporters to trying to whip up communal tension by singling out supporters of the agitation and added that it was a direct challenge to the student community.
