The Court remanded them to judicial custody for 15 days.
Speaking to media persons at their Sega Road, Konjeng Hazari Leikai office this afternoon, KSA HRD secretary Angouton Khuman said that they would impose public curfew upon Rajesh Kumar Yadav (28) and Dasharath Prasad (48) and their families if the arrested students are not released within 24 hours.
Moreover, the student body would mount a strong vigil upon all wholesalers, retailers and agents of Tata Salt.
All the shops owned by Rajesh and Dasharath should not be opened until an agreement is reached with the KSA.
KSA has no enmity against any community including non-local people.
KSA volunteers were only checking adulteration of food items, Angouton said.

KSA volunteers only questioned Rajesh and Dasharath and they were never beaten.
Pointing out that some of the students arrested by police would be appearing Manipur University examinations, Angouton called upon all KSA units to stay alert.

Kumar was vandalised by a mob at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai today.
Many ofthe goods sold/ stored in the shop were taken outside and disposed by the road side.
Moirangthem (O) Bijeta, elder sister of Sukham Bidyananda has strongly condemned the act of arresting and sending students to prison for pulling two non-local frauds involved in adulteration of food items.
She also decried the act of letting off the two non-local frauds just because they were close to one Okram Henry belonging to Wangkhei Assembly segment.
