Assessment camp held

Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Manipur in association with Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation of India, Guwahati held an assessment camp for persons with disabilities at Revival Foundation Office, Wangjing today, our correspondent reports.
About 70 persons with disabilities from Thoubal district participated in the assessment camp held today.
Similar camps will be held at Senapati and Chandel districts on May 26 and 28 respectively.
Speaking at the occasion Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Manipur secretary Premier said the centre will endeavour to provide necessary items for the disabled persons in the district within 45 days.
ALIMKO rehab expert Md Alamgeer, CMO Thoubal Dr N Jayentakumar and representatives of Human Society, Wangjing also attended the camp.
