At least 13 government employees who failed to turn up for ADC election duty were said to have suspended.
Many of them turn up for training of the ADC election but some employees who have failed to turn up for the training and polling duty were suspended, the District Election Officer, Tamenlgong told the reporters here late tonight.
The employees were indentifying as Ditungbou P/T TADC, Tathonang A/M Old Phallong P/S TADC, N.Dorendra Kumar L/A Fishery, Diphunang P/T Thanron TADC, Tenision J/A Treasury, H Shyamkanhai Singh J/A Pensioner TADC, Baramjin P/T Ijeirong, G.Dalung P/T ZEO, Jacob Gonmei P/T Old Dailong TADC, Marulung G/T Thengjang Jr HS, Malei Pamei G/T Khangsinlung Hr SS, BD Romesh Anal CO District Social Welfare Officer, and Chingkhiuhiamang P/T Taijijang.
Polling parties for remaining 47 polling station in Tamenlgong district will be start their dispersal from 8th June 2010 where a total 38 polling parties will be dispatch from Tamenglong HQs and 9 from Imphal, adding that all preparation are almost completed, the officer said.
Further the official source said that for second phase the engage government employees are to be report on 6 June 2010 at Tamenglong higher Secondary School adding that free accommodation with security forces along with subsidise food and entitlement of DA as per attendance will be given.
And if the engaged govt employees who fail to report and found absent will be take up disciplinary action by the higher authority, the DEO disclosed.
In the initial phase out of total 115 polling station 80 polling parties were sent out where 68 polling parties have conducted successful election and ballot boxes have safely deposited, adding that 10 polling station are to be repoll during the next two phase to be taken up on 11 and 16 June including uncovered 35 polling station, the officer said.
