The examination centre for the Tengnoupal BRC IGNOU Study Centre for D.El.Ed.first year examination was also shifted outside the district last year by the Regional Director of IGNOU, Imphal but was relocated at United College, Lambung, Chandel after strong oppositions were raised.
This year also, the Regional Director has notified shifting of the examination centre at Lamding Model H/S, Thoubal despite the fact that Tengnoupal BRC Centre Centre students have opted the examination centre code for United College, Lambung in the examination form, the KSO leader stated.
KSO had lifted the indefinite bandh from November 12 till 13 temporarily in view of the Ningol Chakouba celebrations.
Mate further maintained that the students' body will continue to impose bandh along Imphal-Moreh road indefinitely and also intensify the agitations until authorities concerned relocate the said examination centre within the district.
