Fish crop competition winners announced

Imphal, November 14 2015 :
Ningthoujam Kumar Singh of Thanga Chingmei, Bishnupur district has been declared the first position winner of the Fish Fair cum Fish Crop Competition 2015 held on Nov 12 at ISBT complex, Khuman Lampak.
According to Director of Fisheries, Ningthoujam Basanta Singh of Keibul, Bishnupur and Soibam Surchandra Singh of Hiyangthang, Imphal West have been adjudged the second and third prize winners respectively.
Soibam Surchandra is also declared the highest indigenous fish producing farmer.
He produced 16,192 kgs of Pengba and Khabak.
