KCP-MPL celebrates its 15th Anniversary

Kangleipak Communist Party's (KCP) armed wing, Meeyamgi Phingang Lanmee (MPL) is celebrating its 15th anniversary on August 13.President of KCP, who is also the chairman of Military Affairs Committee, Laba Meitei send revolutionary greeting to revolutionary organizations, civil society bodies, intellectuals, journalists and the people of Manipur and the region of WSEA on the behalf of MPL-KCP in the proscribed groups most recent statement.
Laba Meitei, in the statement, said "On August 13, 1891, many brave sons of Kangleipak laid down their lives in the battle fought against British for freedom.
We should not take the event of August 13 in relation to the events that were happening in India" .
Laba Meitei, in the statement, explains the international and local contexts in which the "revolutionary movement" in Manipur has been waged.He stated "the contradiction which emerged after 1940 between communism and liberalism has receded after the collapse of USSR.
Liberalism has been ruling since then.
However, we see immense amount of poverty in large sections of people in the countries where liberalism has been practiced.
Liberalism is faced with crisis and is now riddled with contradictions" .
The statement mentions "those who amass great wealth in the name of development have destroyed the ecosystem.
There is global warming" .
It also talks about how machines and artificial intelligence have replaced humans in many areas.
With the given progress in digital technology, the statement says that "there is a phenomenon of digital colonialism" .
Talking about the Indian context, KCP - President says that India has turn towards fascism.
"These fascist have stripped Kashmir of its special status.
We can only ask how the people of Kashmir will react.
The state of Jammu Kashmir in now downgraded into two union territories" .
He also mentions that Article 3 of the constitution empowers only the centre for splitting up any state and added territory of one state into another.
"When it comes to academic freedom, a UGC-MHRD order has gagged the teachers in Central Universities from utter words unfavorable to the government.
UAPA Act has been amended too, empowering it to the extent that authorities can declare any individual as a terrorist.
Even RTI has amended too.
The federal structure has been destroyed and there is an utter disregard for democracy," the statement added.
It further states that "based on the ideology of Hinduvta and the notion of Akhand Bharat, those in power are trying to oppress the Mongoloid and Dravidian people to bring forth their dream of one nation, one language and one religion in reality" .
Laba Meitei has further stated that India is made of many princely states, many of whom are forcefully absorbed into this union.
"This country is made by the British and given to the ruling class after it left.
This country is waiting for its collapse, just like USSR" .
