8 suspected Rohingyas captured from Moreh

Not too long after 6 Rohingyas were nabbed from Imphal International Airport/Tulihal Airport, Assam Rifles captured 8 Myanmarese Nationals (suspected to be Rohingyas), who came through the same airport, from Indo-Myanmar border town Moreh last night.
According to a police source, a team of 43 AR nabbed the 8 individuals from a hotel located at Moreh at around 11 pm yesterday.
They were handed over to Moreh PS today and a case has been registered for necessary investigation.
They were then taken to Imphal from Moreh, the source added.
The source continued that the arrested individuals have been identified as Yeminlet alias Md Zaid (23) s/o Noor Mohammad, Aung Myo Htut alias Md Arafat (27) s/o Ismayel, Arkar Naing alias Musaffar (24) s/o Abdul Rahim, Zin Ko Leuin alias Abdul Qadim (25) s/o Alia, Nay Thu Rain Tun alias Md Nayar (22) s/o Nisar Ahamed, Aung Chaye alias Sheikh Ahamed (28) s/o Abdul Rahim, Tinmyint alias Zubair (25) s/o Md Salim and Aung Tun (30) s/o Htay Aung and explained that Aung Tun was the person responsible for transporting the remaining individuals.
The source further explained that 3 out of the 8 individuals were caught by AR personnel while they were trying to cross the border into Myanmar and as a part of the follow-up action, the remaining 5 were picked up from the hotel.
It may be mentioned that on August 10, Imphal West district police had captured 6 Rohingyas with fake documents.
The source informed that the 8 individuals captured yesterday had reached Imphal airport in two batches on August 6 and 7 before heading to Moreh.
