AHTA appeals

Ukhrul, August 13 2019:
All Hunphun Tangs Association (AHTA), Ukhrul strongly objected the alleged 'ulterior move' of a local NGO 'trying to intrude and occupy' the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) established at Kasomtang, Ukhrul.
AHTA warned the Tribal Youth Development Foundation (TYDF) that it should stop the pursuing for allotment of rooms at the ITI, Ukhrul.
Briefing the media persons, Chonmi Raleng president of AHTA mentioned that recently Minister Radheshyam had visited ITI, Ukhrul and took stock of the status of the training centre.
Raleng said that there are nine technical diploma courses available at the ITI.
It needs further upgradation and more trade/ courses for youths, he said appealing the Minister concerned to look into the shortages of the ITI and provide all necessary equipments and materials for the trainees before the beginning of the new academic session 2019 .
AHTA also appealed authorities concerned to fill the vacant post for motor mechanic instructor and bring back staff being utilised in other districts in
the interest of the trainees.
