The second raising day of the Komrem People's Army (KRPA) was celebrated at a place in Churachandpur district on October 19.According to a statement of the outfit's deputy chief of army Badal, the celebration commenced with hoisting of the party flag by its southern district commander Rengthoi followed by a general address by the deputy chief of army to the party cadres and public.
While stating that KRPA has no enemy, it appealed to all organisations not to pose any hindrance in all its activities taken up according to its standpoint.
The outfit observed that every people in the State has their responsibility in safeguarding the interest of Manipur.
"Rather than harbouring ill-feelings and animosity amongst ourselves, it's time to work sincerely for amity and unity among all the people of Manipur", noted the statement.
Asking all to let Komrem people live in freedom, the KRPA sought cooperation from all quarters towards development of Komrem people at par with other communities of the State.
Appealing to all organisations to withdraw monetary demand against poor and deprived villagers.
It further appealed to all concerned to help all round development of Komrem group instead of sowing seeds of misunderstanding and scheming to create divisions among Komrem people.
