Stolen jeep recovered from IT road

A Bolero jeep stolen from Nagaland has been recovered by a police team lead by Senapati SDPO.
A police source informed that they received a report about the missing of Bolero jeep belonging to former Advocate General of Nagaland P Pius.
Acting on the report, the a police team led by the SDPO were checking vehicles at Senapati Hqs.
However, one Bolero jeep coming from Mao sped ahead without halting at about 1.30 pm today.
The SDPO informed the matter to Kangpokpi police station with details of the Bolero jeep such as its colour, registration number etc.
Subsequently, Kangpokpi police put up a vigil and they saw the same jeep heading towards Kangpokpi.
But on seeing police, the jeep turned towards IT Road.
The police team pursued for about 8 Kms along the road and they found the jeep abandoned near Chabangkining village.
Bolero jeep went missing since July 8 and its owner, the former Advocate General of Nagaland reported the matter to Senapati district police personally.
Though the real registration number of the Bolero jeep was NL-10/7012, it was found changed to MN-03P/1269 when the jeep was recovered.
