AR donates blood

Imphal, July 19 2011:
As part of its ongoing philanthropic activities 27 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division has offered a new lease of life and hope to Miss Hoihvung Paite, a 30 year old girl from Thinghat.
The girl had been suffering from Gynecological problem with uncontrolled/profuse bleeding requiring urgent surgery but owing to the low Hemoglobin level, the operation had to be postponed, while the Hemoglobin level dropped due to non availability of donors.
The girl is the lone daughter of Mrs Nianglang with no relatives to donate blood.
Mrs Nianglang, mother of Miss Hoihvung Paite required urgent help.
The ARMO Deputy Commandant S Vaiphei immediately brought to notice the grave condition of the girl who needed immediate medical attention to the Commandant of 39 Assam Rifles, Commandant Vineet Sharma and 07 donors were provided for the surgery.
The precious life was saved on time.
The family of the girl wish the unit all the best in the future.
