According to the report submitted to the CAF &PD Commissioner by IOC and PWD respectively, there is possibility of using the road twice a week, conveyed a reliable source.
In the course of the field survey, the BRO officials observed that it would be difficult even for vehicles weighing only nine tonnes to take the road because of the narrow turnings and weak culverts and this was mentioned in the report.
The report also mentioned the BRO's intention to repair the road first in view of its narrowness and unevenness of the road surface.
In case, the road should be taken due to sheer necessity, there is need to monitor vehicles coming from Ukhrul side, once vehicles start moving on the road from Jessami side, said the report.
