Poll personnel for Vangai range of Churachandpur district

Imphal, January 24, 2012:
For the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly elections slated to be held on January 28, polling personnel who have been assigned duty in Vangai range of Churachandpur district have started moving to their stations from today.
According to information received from the office of Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur, 15 polling personnel have set off for Vangai range today.
Polling personnel for Thanlon and Tipaimukh would start moving from tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Centre has sanctioned five additional CRPF companies for guarding EVMs.
Moreover, the State Government has requisitioned 25 vehicles from Nagaland Government and 220 vehicles from Assam Government.
On the other hand, it is reported that Chief Minister Okram Ibobi has only Rs 6,44,480 in cash and an Ambassador car as per the affidavit filed by him.
