Many join Cong

At least 10 people from different political parties have joined the Congress ahead of the Assembly election while MPCC has revoked the suspension order of four other former Congress functionaries.
A reception function for the newly inducted Congress members and those whose suspension orders have been revoked were accorded a grand reception at the MPCC (I) office at BT Road today.
Former BJP members who have joined the Congress included Maibam Dhanabir Singh, former BJP candidate in Hiyanglam AC and State executive member of BJP Manipur Pradesh, Maibam Joykishor Singh State executive member of BJP Manipur Pradesh and Hanjabam Jayadeva Sharma former candidate in Yaiskul AC, State executive member and former vice president of BJP Manipur Morcha.
The others to join the Congress are, Tongbram (O) Thaba Devi former LJP councillor candidate of ward number 18, Pheiroijam Memchatombi (Abe) Devi former NCP councillor ward number 11 of Keishamthong BCC, Heikrujam Deva Singh sitting member ward number 9 (NCP), Keishamthong BCC, Mongjam Arunkumar Singh member ward number 11 (NCP) of Keishamthong BCC, Thokchom Chandrasakhi Devi, ex-member of ward number 9, Keishamthong BCC (NCP) and Thiyam Saratchandra Singh, ex-councillor candidate of ward number 9, Keishamthong BCC (BJP) .
The former Congress members whose suspension orders were revoked and readmitted to the party are A Enilkumar Sharma, former secretary propaganda and publicity, Yaiskul Block Congress Committee and Th Keinatombi Devi, former president, Yaiskul Block Mahila Congress Committee.
