UNLF celebrates

Imphal, November 24 2013:
The UNLF celebrated its 49th raising day extensively across the State and at all units of the party and its armed wing MPA, conveyed a press release issued by the outfit's senior publicity officer Ksh Yoiheiba.
The raising day celebration held at different units were led by the Finance Secretary, HRD Secretary, External Affairs Secretary, Organisation Secretary, Family Welfare Secretary, Vice Chief of Army Staff and Assistant Chief of Army Staff.
Outside the State, the raising day celebration was led by the liaison officer and the publicity officer.

The main function was held at MPA GHQs where Chief of Army Staff Brig A Wangpa, acting Chairman Kh Pambei, General Secretary N Thabal and GSO-1 in-charge Ng Pamheiba were seated as president, chief guest and guests of honour respectively.
Reading out of the Central Committee's annual statement, acting Chairman's message and deliberation on the revolutionary movement were the main features of the raising day celebrations.
The gatherings also decided to launch more intensified armed campaign against enemy forces.
The functions culminated by pledging collectively to work with greater sacrificial spirit in order to win full confidence and faith of the mass, Yoiheiba conveyed.
