'Homecoming' for Phizo's son

Nearly 23 years after, it is going to be another Phizo's mortal remains from London to Nagaland.
A grand funeral programme is being planned for Naga National Council (NNC) leader Kevilevor Phizo, the eldest son of legendary AZ Phizo who passed away in London on April 12 due to a massive cardiac arrest.
He was 73 .
Founder of NNC AZ Phizo's dead body was also brought from London to Nagaland in 1990 and that too in the month of April.
Well placed sources from the NNC in Kohima informed Newmai News Network that a grand funeral programme is being planned.
Well wishers of the NNC, tribal and frontal organisations are expected to join the funeral programme of NNC
leader Kevilevor Phizo.
Talking to Newmai News Network from New Delhi this evening, noted Naga intellectual Niketu Iralu who is a close relative of Kevilevor Phizo said three family members including himself will be going to London to bring home the dead body.
"We are waiting for the visa clearance and hopefully things will be settled soon," said Niketu Iralu.
Meanwhile, a separate source said that London based Adinno Phizo who is the NNC president and one of the daughters of late A.Z.Phizo will also accompany the dead body of her brother Kevilevor Phizo to Nagaland.
