NPF refutes news report

The Naga people's Front has refuted the news report that appeared in the local daily on 6th March 2019 issue and circulating even in the social medias about some NPF MLAs standoff.
Dismissing the news, the NPF asserted that all the 26 MLAs were intact and sailing together in unity.
Due to certain rumours on the standoff, a closed-door meeting was held today at Kohima, where all the MLAs were present except some few MLAs who were out of the state for medical treatment and other engagements could not attend.
The meeting has cleared all doubts that was created in the minds of the Naga people by false rumours.
The NPF asserted their fullest cooperation with one another and the legislature party leader and to the party.
During the meeting, all the NPF legislators have come together for a gentlemanly talk to hammer out any differences on issues that are hindering the party and have given their assurance to stand together and uphold the integrity and principles of the NPF party , and assured that they will not allow any force to disturb the peaceful ambience in the NPF family.
Besides other issues, the meeting also discussed at length the preparation for the upcoming state by-election to the Aolendeng constituency and the Lok Sabha election in the state as well the outer Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh state.
