Oxygen donated, edible items distributed

Imphal, May 21 2021:
In view of the prevailing Covid-19 crisis and the increasing need of medical oxygen supply to Covid patients, Manipur Cricket Association (MCA) led by its president MLA RK Imo donated 40 D -Type Oxygen cylinders to state government on Friday.
MLA RK'Imo, :MCA vice president L Binoy, secretary Singam Priyananda, treasurer L Ronel and joint secretary K Bobin handed over the said cylinders to health department director Dr K Rajo.
Meanwhile, in connec tion with the 30th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Kshetrigao Block Congress Committee under the initiative of former MLA of Kshetrigao AC Md Amin Shah distributed edible items to several households of the constituency including Top Dushera, Top Khabam, Kshetrigao, Keikhu Muslim, Keikhu Mayai Leikai, Bamon Kampu and Irilbung that have been declared as containment zones.
Intending candidate of Keirao AC, Devananda Meitei also distributed edible items to households of Langdum, Keirao, Kyamgei Maning Leikai, Arapti, Kyamgei Leirak Wangma and Kyamgei Awang Leikai that have been notified as containment zone.
In a bid to reduce some of the problems faced by the people due to the curfew imposed for containing Covid-19 pandemic, intending candidate of Wangkhem AC Kharibam Jiban distributed edible items to the people of Chaobok Kabui and Lishamlok village which are mostly resided by hill people.
Moreover, North East India Development Party, Manipur State general secretary Gopen Thongram distributed essential items to 280 families of Keirao constituency including Langdum, Keirao, Khanarok, Chanam Sandrok, Thiyam Konjin and Arapti that have been notified as virus zones after family member(s) tested positive for Covid-19 .
