Monetary aid extended to bed-ridden man

Kakching High School 1984 matric batch on Friday extended a sum of Rs 15,000 to Moirangthem Suraj (20) of Kakching Wairi Senapati Leikai, who has been bed-ridden following spinal cord injury.
Members of Kakching High School 1984 matric batch handed over the monetary aid to Suraj's mother Sarita at their residence.
Speaking in this regard, the batch president Naorem Munal informed that since its inception, they have been extending all possible help to those unfortunate families whose members are undergoing treatment or suffering from serious ailments.
As Suraj, who had been maintaining the family since the death of his father, remained seriously ill for a year, the batch-mates extended the aid to him for his treatment, he added.
Munal also urged the people to help young Suraj as his operation could be costly.
