MLA Rajen's statement condemned

Imphal, March 14 2022: All Manipur Nupi Marup has strongly denounced the statement made by elected BJP candidate from Lamsang A/C and former education minister S Rajen, wherein he said that those who voted for NPP candidate in the election would not be provided benefits of any government schemes.

In a release, All Manipur Nupi Marup secretary L Sumatibala said that such mindset of considering those who cast their votes against him as enemy by a successful candidate is a low-class politics.

Such person should not be inducted in the council of ministers, she contended.

Drawing the attention of authorities concerned, Sumatibala reiterated that no elected people's representatives who spread hatred and incite enmity in the society should be handed ministerial portfolios.
