Whereabouts of kidnapped workers still unknown

Imphal, January 27 2015:
The whereabouts of the three workers of ABCI Infrastructures Private Limited who have been reportedly kidnapped by suspected armed cadres of KNF (N) on January 23 and two other labourers of Coastal Project Private Limited who have also been kidnapped by suspected armed cadres of ZUF on January 19 still remained unknown.
The three workers of ABCI Infrastructures Private Limited identified as excavator driver Raju Robidas (24) of Lalpani, Jirighat, Assam; excavator operator Vinod Kumar (25) of Madhupur village, Bihar and Shiva Narayan of Bihar have been reportedly kidnapped from a place in Saramkon area along Kasom Khullen Road in Ukhrul district in the evening of January 23 while the two labourers of Coastal Project Private Limited identified as Forman Ranjit Thakur (35) and driver Ramjul Haque (28), both hailing from Jharkhand, have been kidnapped from Nungkao Part-III under Tousem Sub-division of Tamenglong district.
While ABCI Infrastructures Private Limited is engaged in construction of road from Yairipok to Kasom Khullen with funding from Asian Development Bank, Coastal Project Private Limited is responsible for the construction of the railway line from Jiribam to Tupul.
