Now Gitanjali in Tangkhul

In Commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary day of Rabindranath Tagore, Exodus' translation and publication of Gitanjali (Song offerings) into Tangkhul Version (Language) was released here today in a simple function.
The translation & Publication Project is taken up by Exodus, a Socio-educational Organisation based at Ukhrul, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, implemented by North East Zone Culture Center.
Gitanjali is a collection of 103 songs which was originally written in Bengali by Guru Rabindranath Tagore and translated in English by the author himself with introduction by William B.Yeats who was internationally acclaimed and won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913 & 1923 .
"Everybody, irrespective of their profession, age, race and walks of life will find this small book with rich literature fabulously soothing, comforting, educative and useful," said Executive Director of Exodus Wungramthan Shongzan.
The book is now available at Public Libraries, University & Institutions, popular Book Stores, and at the office of Exodus, Phungreitang, Ukhrul, Manipur, he informed.
