Excluding the Centre's Special Plan Assistance and one time Assistance from the State's annual Plan size (2005-06), the State Govt has agreed to put forward Rs 710.38 crores as the tentative proposal for the term 2005-06, disclosed an official source.
Sources further informed that the State's plan size for the term 2005-06 has been tentatively projected at Rs 710.38 crores following directives from the Union Planning Commission to fix the State's Plan size 18% above the plan size of the previous term 2003-04.Informing that the State's tentative Plan Size does not include the Centre's Special Plan Assistance and One Time Assistance, source said that the Centre had released Rs 40 crores for the Special Plan Assistance and Rs 200 crores for the one time Assistance for the current financial year thus making the Plan size of the current financial year reached a total sum of Rs 781 crores.
