State Government has taken up steps for demarcating the boundary of the .schools located in Imphal Municipal areas including Lamphelpat, Jiribam and Moreh for the purpose of allotting patta to these schools.
In this regard Commissioner (Revenue) has written to Commissioner (Higher and Technical Education) on Nov 3 informing to give instruction to all the heads of the educational institutions to submit application to Director of Settlement and Land records.
As for located in other parts of the State, instructions have been given for submitting the application through their respective deputy Commissioner concerned.
In the letter, the Commissioner (Revenue) also asked for submitting a list of all the educational institutions under the State Govt at the earliest possible so that the whole exercise land demarcation and the patta allotment could be completed within Dec 31.It may be noted here that the Commissioner (Revenue) had already issued instruction for carrying out the exercise for demarcation of the land for patta allotment for all the Govt dept and offices as well.
Asked to register: Following a Supreme Court directive, State Directorate of Family Welfare Services would be adopting and implementing pre-natal diagnostic technique in the State henceforth.
In this connection, registration of all the private nursing homes, clinics, laboratory under section 18 of PNDT Act and Section 4 of PNDT Rules has been made mandatory.
Moreover, registration already made under Section 8 of PNDT Rules would be reviewed.
