All cadres of KCP-MC (Lallumba group) would be housed in a rehabilitation centre opened by the Government after a formal surrender function this month.
This was stated by DGP Y Joykumar at the inaugural function of newly constructed badminton indoor stadium inside 8th MR complex at Leikun, Chandel.
Speaking to media persons by the sideline of the inaugural function, DGP Joykumar said that a proposal for formal surrender of KCP-MC (Lallumba group) has been put in place.

However, he did not give the exact location where cadres of KCP-MC (Lallumba group) would be put.
The surrender ceremony would be held at Imphal in the presence of Home Ministry officials.
The outfit has strength of 150 cadres, the DGP said.
He further hinted that the surrender ceremony would be held very soon.
According to information received by press, KCP-MC (Lallumba group) cadres may surrender and moved in the Governmentopened rehabilitation centre on January 9 or 10 .
The outfit had already held a preliminary round of talk with officials of the State and Central Government.
They had also shown their cadre strength.
The DGP also inspected dilapidated barracks of 8th MR.
