World class road projects underway in Patsoi: MLA

Patsoi MLA Sapam Kunjakeshor has said that world class renovation of five roads in Patsoi assembly constituency is underway.
On Monday, the MLA released fingerlings in two ponds at Mayaikoibi as part of his initiative to promote fish farming.
Later, he inspected road projects which are underway in his constituency.
Interacting with the media, the MLA said that support and contribution of the public is imperative in improving road conditions and called for public support.
Takyel Ghari road, which connects Mayaikoibi and Lukram Leirak, was 18 feet wide.
He is now re-developing the road by widening it up to 35 feet with concrete drains on both sides and road medians with street lamps.
Targeting to be completed by October this year, the road will be the first world class road of the assembly constituency once completed, he said.
Including this, he is planning to develop four more such world class roads in the constituency soon.
Apart from this, he is planning to renovate roads in Changangei, Patsoi Part 2, Naoremthong among other areas to suit the daily requirement of the people.
