Distribution of safety kits, edibles mark Rajiv Gandhi tribute event

In commemoration of the 30th Death Anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the COVID-19 Response Team which was formed under the aegis of 51-Saitu Block Congress Committee extended medical aids to various PHCs, PHSCs and Covid Care Centres on Friday.
The COVID-19 Response Team led by Dr Lamtinthang Haokip visited COVID Care Centre Leikop, Saitu-GamphazolPHC, Motbung PHC, Makhan PHSC, Dolang PHSC, Wainem PHSC, Leimakhong PHSC, Kangchup Chiru PHSC and KSO Twibul lhang.
The visiting team donated medical aids sponsored by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee including oxygen concentrators, Sanitisers, Mask, gloves, strips of Paracetamol and Vit C and other medical equipment to COVID Care Centre, Leikop.
Medical equipment including PPE kits, sanitisers, masks, medicine, etc., contributed by Dr Lamtinthang Haokip were also distributed to all the PHCs, PHSCs, and KSO Twibul lhang.
Meanwhile, KSO Twibul lhang has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr Lamtinthang Haokip for his visit to Kangchup Chiru PHC and KSO Twibul lhang in addition to the donation of various medical equipment to fight Covid-19 pandemic.
THOUBAL: Apart from appealing to people of Manipur to wash their hands frequently and remain alert, Khangabok MLA O Surjakumar has called for a collective fight to defeat the second wave of COVID-19 .
The MLA made this appeal while presenting COVID-19 fighting items including mask, sanitisers, IB syrup and multi vitamin tablet to Isolation Centres of Khangabok in connection with the 30th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi at Thoubal Congress Bhawan on Friday.
After offering floral tributes to portrait of Rajiv Gandhi at Thoubal Congress Bhawan, MLA Surjakumar also visited Thoubal district hospital and handed over three oxygen concentrators and two water storage tanks.
KAKCHING: In connection with the observance of 30th death anniver sary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Mahila Congress Committee Kakching, Kakching Block Congress Committee (BCC) Kakching and BBC Kakching in coordination with executive engineer (retired) of Manipur Police Housing Corporation Yengk horn Nilachandra of Kakching Mayai Leikai Laishangbam Pareng presented edible items to families under home isolation in Kakching Ward No 8 .
Block Congress Committee Kakching president Kshetrimayum Ibohal Singh, Mahila Congress Committee Kakching president Moirangthem Pishak Devi and other executive members, Kakching Municipal Council ex-chairperson Moirangthem Inakhunbi Devi and other functionaries of BCC Kakching were also present during the distribution.
The team distributed mustard oil, salt, pulses, sugar, potato, tea leaves, cabbages, etc, to 12 families.
