The AISF has sought the co-operation of the general public to its statewide bandh on Saturday against the failure of the Central Rule in Manipur.
The bandh call has been given to protest the Government�s failure to ensure adequate supply of fuel and uninterrupted supply of essential commodities.
The student body also appealed to all the people to remain indoors on the day.
It however, has relaxed essential services like medical, fire service, water supply and the religious services.
Meanwhile, the Manipur Transport Joint Co-ordinating Committee, Imphal has supported the State-wide bandh called by the AISF from 4 am to 6 pm tomorrow.
The Transport Committee has also called another 15 hour bandh on August 26 from 4 am to 7 pm.
During the bandh, essential services including medical and religious services would be relaxed, it said.
Seeking the support of all the voluntary organizations in the State to the proposed bandh, the transport committee stated that the arrival of transport vehicles from outside the State during the bandh will also be allowed, a press release said.
