Abduction of Boboy JAC submits memo to CM

JAC constituted in connection with the abduction of Moirangthem Boboy has urged the State Government to make necessary arrangement for his safe release from the custody of the proscribed KCP (MC) .
The JAC submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister in this regard today.
A large number of people from Boboy's native village Kumbi came to meet the Chief Minister today.
However, police blocked them at Nityaipat Chuthek even as the irate villagers tried to throng the CM's residence.
Later, a few selected JAC representatives were allowed to meet the CM, where they submitted the memorandum.
Boboy works as the Supervisor of Thoubal district for the private security agency, BSL, which provides security to private mobile operators.
It may be mentioned that Moirangthem Boboy of Kumbi Bazar was abducted by KCP (MC) cadres on February 11 .
Meanwhile, the 48-hour Bishnupur district bandh called by the JAC in this regard is continuing since 5 am today.
The JAC also decided to throng at the offices of mobile service operators in a meeting held yesterday.
