Govt shuffles eight IAS, six MCS officers

Imphal, May 17 2021:
Chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar has been entrusted the charge of Finance, Home, DP, IT, Cabinet and Chief Vigilance Commissioner in addition to his present assignment.
Apart from the new assignment handed over to Dr Rajesh Kumar, an order issued by Department of Personnel deputy secretary Ph Bhavananda Sharma effected transfer and posting of eight other IAS officers and six MCS officers with immediate effect until further orders.
As per the order, IAS officers Paulunthang Vaiphei will be additional secretary (transport and works), Vumlunmang Vualnam principal secretary (Health & Family Welfare, GAD, Horticulture & SC) and member secretary (EBADA & BRDVB); N Geoffrey secretary to Chief Minister & secretary to Minority Affairs, OBC & SC, Social Welfare and special secretary to Cabinet, DP and DEO of MIDA in addition; Th Chitra Devi special secretary (Election and director for Language, Planning and Implementation in addition); B John Tlangtinkhuma secretary (Labour & Employment) & Special Secretary (FD/IT) & Commissioner (Excise) and Sharath Chandra Arroju as joint secretary (Tourism/Edn-S), Mission Director, Manipur Society for Skill Development (MSSD) and Staff Officer to Chief Secretary in addition.
Meanwhile, MCS officers Mamoni Doley has been posted as SDO/BDO Bish-nupur; N Gojendro Singh as Deputy Secretary (Agriculture); AS Elias as Deputy Secretary (Co-operation); Hanjabam Bobby Sharma as ADC, Bishnupur; Waikhom Phajatombi as Additional Director (IPR); Keisham Jadumani Singh as ADC, Moreh and and A Rohini Kumar as Deputy Director (Tourism) .
