Medical camp organised

Imphal, March 12 2015:
The 3 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) organised a medical camp in the Samtal village in the remote area of Chandel district under "Operation Sadbhavna".
A total of 174 villagers including 132 women and children were examined during the medical camp.
According a statement issued by PRO HQ IGAR (S), medical officers gave medical advice and medication as required to the villagers.
This gesture was highly appreciated by the locals of this remote border area of Chandel district lacking in medical facilities.
In another endeavor, 21 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) organised a dental camp at Sajik Tampak, Chandel district under "Operation Sadbhavna".
The aim of the camp was to provide basic dental care to the needy villagers devoid of medical facilities in the far flung areas of Sajik Tampak of Chandel.
A total of 83 villagers were given dental care advice and medication as required.
Waiting shed The 45 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) inaugurated a waiting shed at Lukhokal village under the "Project Sadbhavna" on March 12, a PRO HQ IGAR (S) release said.
As part of Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme, 35 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector AR under the aegis of IGAR(South) presented Solar Lanterns to Kanjang village in remote area of Senapati district on Mar 12 .
