3rd CNE underway at RIMS

Prof S.Sekharjit, Director of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, this morning declared the Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) opened in Jubilee hall.
This is the third CNE organised in College of Nursing, RIMS.
The topic of the CNE this time is 'Patient Safety' .
Thanking the resource persons, Dr Sekharjit hoped that the lectures and interactions will be of immense benefits to the students and teachers alike.
Prof N.Damayanti, adviser to College of Nursing, welcomed the resource persons.
She said that the interesting and relevant topic of the CNE will be of professional and academic benefits to one and all.
In the first session of the CNE, Prof Ashia Qureshi of AIIMS spoke on quality assurance in patient safety.
In the second session, Prof Mahasweta Bose of Charnock College of Nursing, Kolkata spoke on the role of nurses in patient safety.
In the third session, Prof H.Jammuna, Principal, college of Nursing, RIMS spoke on the importance of nursing education on patient safety.
A large number of faculties, eminent professionals, students and others were present on the occasion which was organised by College of Nursing in connection with its 5th foundation day.
