Teams constituted to monitor 'Home Isolation cases' in IE, IW

Imphal, May 21 2021: In all, 7 teams have been constituted to closely monitor 'Home Isolation' cases in Imphal East and Imphal West districts.

As per an order issued by Joint Director/State Nodal Officer for Home Isolation, four teams have been constituted to monitor the home isolation cases in Imphal West and three for Imphal East.

Dr Mangalsana Urikhinbam (8413929942) has been assigned as the Nodal Officer for the team which will cover home isolation cases in Sekmai, Sagolband, Uripok and Thangmeiband Assembly Constituencies (AC) under Imphal West district.

Dr Reena Thongram (6360202231) will be monitoring home isolation cases in Konthoujam, Patsoi and Lamsang Assembly segments and Dr Maibam Bindiya (9366219143) will look into cases in Langthabal, Singjamei and Keishamthong ACs.

Dr Gurumayum Narendra Neva Sharma (7005404816) will on the other hand monitor cases in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, Wangoi and Mayang Imphal ACs.

Meanwhile Nodal officers named for Imphal East district are, Dr Shangomshumpham Ritaz (9863453436) who will cover Heingang, Wangkhei, Yaiskul and Kshetrigao ACs; Dr Baby Washima (8794459985) who will cover Thongju, Keirao and Andro ACs and Dr Md Khurshid Alam (8837486932) who will cover Khundrakpam, Lamlai and Khurai ACs.

The order stated that the teams should ensure prompt delivery of medicine packets and pulse oximeters to patients under home isolation, ensure regular monitoring and assist in referral of cases to higher centres.

The teams should also ensure regular home visits by doctors, Nurses, ANMs, ASHAs and other field staff, it said.

The teams were also instructed to co-ordinate with Assembly Segment Covid Committees and District Nodal Officers for Home Isolation concerned.

They should, however, report directly to the State Nodal Officer for Home Isolation, the order said.
