CM notes success of Meeyamgi Numit

Chief Minister N Biren Singh expressed gratitude to the people of the State on the grand success of the first ever "Meeyamgi Numit" which was held across the State on May 15 .
He further conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the Deputy Chief Minister, Council of Ministers, Chief Secretary, Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Deputy Commi- ssioners, SPs and BDOs/SDOs and all other officials for interacting with the people and receiving their complaints and grievances.
He urged all the officials concerned including the Council of Ministers to take up necessary actions immediately.
He further stressed that the officials concerned should report about the follow-up action and the progress to the individual or persons concerned immediately through their mobile phones or emails.
Promising transparency and accountability for better governance in the State, he further assured that the Government would work for the welfare of the people as per their aspirations and wishes.
It may be mentioned that "Meeyamgi Numit" is an initiative of the new Government to bridge the gap between the public and Government and to solve the problems faced by the common people at the grass root level.
