Senapati, October 27 2018:
CRPF Senapati outpost distributed solar LED lanterns with solar charging panel to 50 non-electrified households in Senapati district, underCivic Action Program.
In a simple function held at multipurpose hall, Senapati, the program was organized with M Pradeep Singh, SP, Senapati as the chief guest in the presence of Somanath Maharana, 2nd in Command, 109 Bn, CRPF, SDSA officials, MSPDCL officials and high ranking officials of the CRPF.
While extending gratitude to the CRPF for their yeoman service to mankind, M Pradeep Singh prayed that the beneficiaries could live a comfortable life with the equipment provided by the CRPF.
Somanath Maharana conveyed that he had visited different places in the district and selected the households where there is no electricity.
The police officer added that the service was extended to help the villagers and enable the children to study at night.
He also mentioned that the Battalion is also planning to organize a football tournament for the area in the near future.
The beneficiaries, lauded the CRPF for their initiative.
