Students found using unfair means in exam: DESAM

Inspection teams of DESAM have found students using unfair means in the ongoing Class XII exam being conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur.
Informing this to media persons today, Assistant General Secretary of the student body P Premchandra said that that DESAM has formed seven teams comprising 4 members each for inspecting the exam centres mainly in the valley districts.
The teams today inspected 14 examination centres in Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal and Bishnupur.
He further informed that the students appearing in the exam in Heirok Higher Secondary School, N Tomchou Higher Secondary School, Biramangol College, Johnstone Higher Secondary School, etc were found using unfair means.
However, when the team arrived, all the copying chit-sheets were found thrown out of the windows.
Premchandra further informed that in some schools, the inspection teams have been welcomed by the school authorities but were not even allowed to enter in some examination centres.
In this regard, he appealed to all concerned to cooperate with the inspection teams DESAM in the interest of student community.
