Imphal, February 25 2013:
The proscribed UG group, People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has called upon the public to remain alert over the rising number of drug scandals in Manipur and in the same time, to realise the alleged secret warfare of the Indian army for making Manipur a society of walking dead.
In a statement issued by its Assistant Secretary of Publicity and Propaganda Leibakngakpa Luwang, PREPAK asserted that the seizure of a huge consignment of drugs from PRO, PIB (DW), Col Ajay Chowdhry is just a curtain raiser to the secret warfare of India government and its armed forces in their quest to subdue the people of Manipur.
It is not the first time that such consignment of drugs has been seized in Manipur.
However, the significant increase in the cases of illegal drug trafficking and volume of the trade which have come to light are some key points that need to be discussed seriously.
Unfortunately, owners of the drugs always remain anonymous to the public even if persons who were carrying the drugs were reportedly captured.
While discussing these facts, suspicion over involvement of VVIPs, VIPs and High ranking officials of state and Central security forces in the illegal drug trades has raised in the minds of the people.
While many are aware of the fact that such drugs being trafficked by high ranking officials of the security forces, no one could ever spell it out due to lack of solid proof.
However, the Pallel incident has shed light on the secret trade of Indian Security Forces and their secret warfare in Manipur.
It has also shed light on how such large consignment of drugs got trafficked into the State unnoticed through the various security check posts along the National Highways.
In Manipur, the Indian Army has got rid of the principles of sacrificing their lives for the sake of the country and welfare of its people.
Here, they are engaging in a secret warfare which aims at liquidating the ethnic communities, PREPAK maintained.
While appreciating the initiatives of the state Police Commandos in nabbing the drug trader, the outfit, however, expressed apprehension that the dutiful police personnel might be punished or killed secretly instead of lauding their courage or rewarding them in Manipur.
