Dimapur, March 22 2014 :
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said he was never invited by the Government of India to discuss the Naga political issue.
He however said the Chief Ministers of Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh were invited by Delhi for consultations on Naga political issue.
This was disclosed by Rio in the ongoing Nagaland Assembly session after Congress leader Tokheho Yepthomi said the Chief Minister has not been honest to the people and told him to be honest to the people.
Meanwhile, the Naga political issue is going to be the principle issue in Nagaland in the ensuing Lok Sabha election.
The Congress and the NPF are the two contenders for the lone Nagaland Lok Sabha seat.
Both the parties vocally advocating expediting the ongoing Naga peace talks.
Both the parties are constantly engaging in media war for the past 11 years or so on issues confronting the Nagas in Nagaland.
