Imphal, November 28 2018:
R&V Art House in collaboration with Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation, Japan is organising "Peaceful Towns - A Children Competition".
The competition is for children under age - 6 to 15 years.
The theme of the art competition is Peaceful Towns, said a statement of R&V Art House today.
Artworks requirement: B4 size (257 mm X 364 mm) flat artworks which can be scanned.
Materials are not limited.
Artworks must be made by applicants themselves and should be new and should not be submitted to any other competition - present, past of future.
Through careful screening by mayor for Peace Secretariate, the grand prize and two outstanding works will be selected.
The grand prize picture will be printed by Mayors for Peace in folders which will be distributed for various events to raise awareness and importance of peace education, said the statement.
A certificate for the grand prize and 20 folders on which the grand artwork is printed will be presented to the winner.
For other outstanding performance prize winners, a certificate and a commemorative gift will be presented.
Last date of submission is December 1, 2018, informed the statement.
