Ukhrul, May 25 2015 :
Ahead of the much-awaited Manipur Hill Area Autonomous District Council (MHAADC) Election 2015, a total of 152 polling stations have been identified as Hypersensitive, while 54 as Sensitive in Ukhrul District.
According to a highly-placed source, polling stations located within the district headquarters and its environs are in the category of sensitive zones while the rest are placed under hypersensitive category.
Even then, sources further disclosed that security arrangements pertaining to hypersensitive and sensitive zones would not differ much in the strength of security deployment, while adding that security measures would be taken up on equal footing across the district.
Centre forces in the form of Paramilitary forces are likely to be deployed during the upcoming polls, yet it remains to be seen how much strength would be reinforced or provided, though we have requested as per the requirement, added the source.
