Disclosing this during a press conference at its office here today, President of Federation of Regional Indigenous Society (FRIENDS) Sapamcha Jadumani said that the Normal Saline medicine of B Brawn company was found sold above the retail price by its distributor.
Etomidate Lipuro, a Life Saving Drug, which is used before an operation, was also found being sold after the expiry date has been crossed much earlier.
So, a decision has been taken to ban sale of the products of the pharmaceutical company, B Brawn, based in Mumbai in Manipur, until an amicable solution is brought about and the company came out with a clarification in this regard.

The Marketing Manager of B Brawn of Manipur has been contacted, but no positive response could be acquired from him.
He further informed that FREINDS also found out that a same medicine was being sold at different rates.
The medicines were labeled with different rates on two bottles, one costing Rs 17.98 and the other costing Rs 68 .
