Covid caseload rises again

Imphal, November 14 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-9 in the state rose again to 12 on Monday, as government bulletins reported two fresh cases of the viral infection, from out of 126 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 1.6 per cent, but no new recovery.
The two fresh cases (1 male & 1 female) are residents of Imphal East and Senapati districts.
Out of the 12 active cases, seven are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,903 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 174 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,47,936, out of which 13,35,086 had received the second dose and 2,76,468 taken precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49842), Imphal East (32065), Thoubal (10298), Churachandpur (11291), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9986), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3371), Kakching (6981), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
