Bomb threat on Dr Dilipkr decried

Imphal, September 09 2014:
Denouncing the bomb planted by unidentified miscreants at the residential gate of Dr Th Dilipkumar Singh, Chairman of Imphal Urban Co-operative Bank at Thongu Part-II under Singjamei Police Station in Imphal West on September 8 around 7.15 pm, a sit-in-protest was staged jointly by Koirou Mamang Leikai Young Development Association and Koirou Mamang Leikai Chaokhat Thourang Meira Paibi Lup at Koirou Lai Sumang Community Hall today.
Speaking to newspersons on sidelines of the protest, Ng Chaklamba, general secretary of Young Development Association pointed out that there had been an instance where the residence of Dilipkumar was bombed by unidentified persons in 2013 and said that such deadly attacks has created fear psychosis among the family members of Dilipkumar as well as to residents of the locality.
Th Lata, wife of Dilipkumar, who took part in the protest demonstration, said that the fresh bomb plant came as a shocker as no organization has served monetary demand to the family so far and appealed to the concerned organization to clarify to the public why the act was carried out.
During the protest demonstration, placards which read such as 'Do not threaten innocent civilians', 'Resolve matter by dialogue not by bomb.
'Stop bomb culture' etc were displayed.
