Sahayata Trust and IMRC distribute essential items

Imphal, April 26 2021:
Sahayata Trust based in Hyderabad and Indian Muslim Relief Charities (IMRC) based in USA presented gifts and essential items to around 300 widows, differently abled persons and needy people of Paobitek Mayai Leikai in Imphal West today on the occasion of Ramadan month.
The gifts were presented as a part of the Poor Feeding Programme conducted annually in different parts of the world by Sahayata Trust and IMRC.
The gifted items included rice, edible oil, onions, pulses, potatoes, sugar etc.
Md Raees Ahmed, State co-ordinator of Sahayata Trust and IMRC said that they have been donating essential relief items to the needy affected by any sort of crisis or pandemic across the world.
He further stated that as a part of such programmes, essential items are being distributed today in order to provide some relief to the suffering locals during the difficult times of the Covid pandemic.
Also he stressed on the need to help the downtrodden and needy and one another to strive for an equal and progressive society.
