Imphal, May 14 2009:
The proscribed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) reasserted that some villainous Kuki militant group leaders are collaborating with the IOF against the revolutionary movement of Manipur who also sell out their brethren begetting bad names to the Kuki community.
Referring to the statement of the KSO, Churachandpur in countering the UNLF statement, the senior publicity officer of the UNLF Ksh Yoiheiba stated in a release that scapegraces are there among all communities and the UNLF sees them in equal eyes.
Asserting that the villains are the collaborator of the IOF, the statement said that the UNLF has no single communal propaganda in it.
The statement pointed out that the earlier statement of the UNLF was never a propaganda made to incite communal enmity and never targeted against the Kukis.
Rather it revealed the unwanted conducts of some Kuki villains in collusion with the IOF.
Yoiheiba asks whether the KSO, that reacts to the UNLF statement excruciatingly, is also part of the conspiracy.
The statement also substantiated its earlier assertion by pointing out that 1st MR RFN-NO.08200019 Doukhochung Touthang (31) son of Gilkhong, Yaingangpokpi Langol Gamvil and CDO RFN-NO.0615033 Th Langel (26) son of late Piyangthang, New Lamka, Dorgas Road have been involved in the arrest and subsequent killing of ex-MPA No.0894 Pte Oinam Chingthouba alias Kabichandra alias Muthi son of O Nilachandra of Pishum Oinam Leikai.
The UNLF statement asserted this is an instance of some Kuki villains being used by the AR of the IOF to eliminate the Meeteis.
On the PRO IGAR (S) statement that the militant leaders' involvement in extortion, drug trafficking, and smuggling could be substantiated when their kin's financial condition improves virtually, the UNLF statement countered that the AR men are involved in ganja peddling, staging surrender drama after making false promise of providing jobs, killing innocents and branding them militants, raising a gang to extort in the name of revolution, and extorting money from some financially sound individuals on charge of having links with the undergrounds.
It also noted that some people are said to have been killed or arrested from Moreh after actually arresting them from Imphal.
Among the policies adopted by the IOF-AR to keep Manipur under the permanent Indian dominance is instigating communal killings, and dividing the hill and valley people of Manipur, the statement observed adding that the wounds of the Naga-Kuki, Kuki-Paite clashes have not been healed yet.
And now the hill people are used against the valley people particularly to the champion of Manipur's liberation movement, UNLF, it noted.
The UNLF statement also asks the KSO, Churachandpur not to be a propaganda machine of the IOF.
