87 Bn CRPF conducts Civic Action Programme

87 Bn CRPF stationed at Uchathal, Jiribam has distributed aids to disabled persons under its civic action programme at its Battalion HQ today.
Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam Robert Singh Kshetrimayum, IAS attended the function as chief guest.
A large numbers of villagers from villages like Kalinagar, Vidyanagar, New Alipore, Khasiapunji, Makoklung, Babupara etc attended the programme.
The programme started with welcome speech by Sanjeev Kumar Nanda, Dy Commdt of the Bn.
Robert Singh Ksh, DC Jiribam distributed wheel chairs, hearing aids, walking sticks etc to the selected beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC expressed his happiness on the excellent social activities undertaken by 87 Bn CRPF personnel under the guidance of Sunil Kumar, Commandant of the Battalion and promised to be part of such noble initiatives of Bn in future also.
Sunil Kumar, Commandant, in his speedh expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude for Rajesh Kumar IPS, IGP Manipur and Nagaland sector and dedicated the function's success to him.
Sunil Kumar, Commandant, Dr Florence Dangmei, CMO, Sachin Kumar Gupta, Dy Comdt, Vasu, Addl SP Jiribam, Sanatombi, SDPO Jiribam, Hopson Principal, New Life Academy and Hopson, officers, SOs and other ranks along with their family members attended the function.
