Imphal, October 07 2009:
The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has rejected the 'peace talk' offered under the purview of the Indian Constitution while ruling that talk with India will be possible only with the mediation of the United Nations.
This was conveyed by vice-chairman of PREPAK, Nongdren Khomba while greeting the people of the state on the occasion of the outfit's 32nd anniversary which falls on Wednesday.
Extending warm greeting to the people, Nongdrn Khomba, on behalf of the outfit's central committee, pledged to carry on its liberation struggle till the end heart and soul while stating that 'India' is forcibly suppressing the sovereignty of the land.
Calling on the people to discard the slavery mindset, Nongdren Khomba stated that the people will extinct from the surface of the earth like dinosaur if the propensity to survive as slave continues to haunt the people.
He urged the people to end the bloodshed among the brethren.
It noted that the people of the state are now in critical situation.
The 'occupational forces' have eliminated a number of innocents, while on the other hand, the challenge poses by the enemy has increased.
'Indian puppets' have tried to present the 'revolutionary movement' as socio-economic revolution.
The effort to present the revolutionary movement as internal problem and socio-economic movement which has been started and carried on by disgruntled people from broken families, by denying the rights to self determination as enshrined by the UN and historical right to independence shows the lack of understanding of globalisation trend and the rights of a nation.
The 'Indian puppets' should know that the people of Kangleipak have the historical right to independence, the statement conveyed.
Stating that the people of the state (Kangleicha) are reduced to live a wretched life, the statement observed that India continues to unleash suppressive rule against the people.
On economic front, the people of the state have been rendered to depend on India.
Reducing the economy to captive market, they make the land their playing field.
Politically, the Indian rulers have made Manipur government their puppet.
In their attempt to become a blue eyed politician, the politicians of the state don't care the interest of their blood brethren and the needs of the people.
The state forces have also become pawn at the hands of the 'occupational forces' by killing, maiming, arresting the people and staging fake encounter at will.
Even innocent students, auto drivers, and rickshaw pullers were not spared.
Stating that the killing of Rabina and Sanjit at Khwairamband in a fake encounter by Manipur police commandos was heartrending and unfortunate one, Nongdren Khomba noted that the mighty has still been rendered right even in the highly developed 21st century.
Charging that the 'Indian puppets' have freely unleashed state sponsored terrorism, the statement noted that countless number of people have perished in fake encounters.
Nongdren Khomba noted, till September, over 500 people have been killed by IOF and Manipur police commandos since the beginning of this year.
The people have been reduced to the status of fishes inside a pot - which can be caught anytime at will.
