Foundation stone laying ceremony held

A foundation stone laying ceremony of a 100 bedded boys� hostel for Mount Gibeon Higher Secondary School, Tadubi, under Maulana Azad Education Foundation was held today.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sardar SP Singh, who is a member of the foundation, said that the main objective of Maulana Azad Foundation is to educate and enable the minority children to be self employed.
He said that the Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is putting his best effort for successful implementation of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' of the Central Govt adding that under Begun Hazrat Mahal Yojana, scholarship have been distributed to 2 lakh minority girl students this year while 48,000 girls received scholarship last year.
Meanwhile, he added that, many schools have been granted grants for promotion of education and construction of school building under Grant-in-Aid scheme for promotion of education and construction of school buildings.
The member also highlighted other welfare benefits for students during the event.
Mao Baptist Churches Association (MBCA) executive secretary Rev K Koda and Ch Loli, school Principal gave a detailed information about the progress of the school and lauded the foundation for the much needed financial assistance.
