In an apparent reaction to charges from certain quarters, Dr K Rajo, Director of Family Welfare Services said he was suitably appointed as In-charge, Director of Medical and Health Services and State Mission Director, SHS, NHM .
In a statement, Dr K Rajo Singh said no cases of vigilance, corruption, departmental enquiry or scam are pending against him .
There is also no manipulation of seniority list by him, he said while adding that he was promoted to Special Grade, Grade-I, Grade-II and Grade-III after clearing MPSC's exam as per the guidelines and norms of the Govt and MPSC .
There was no recruitment of contract or regular staff in the Family Welfare Dept during his tenure .
He was appointed to the post of Director (In-charge), Health Services and State Mission Director after the false allegations against him were duly cleared and after Integrity Certificate was issued by the State Vigilance Commission, Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Manipur consequent to a thorough probe .
Also asserting that he is not engaged in private practice, Dr Rajo further said that no fund regarding Infant Mortality was sanctioned during his tenure.
No purchase of medical supply was also made during his tenure, he said while adding that he would look into any fund sanction for purchase of medical supply, if any .
Dr Rajo also affirmed to ease the problems faced by patients from peripheries and try his best to bring development in the health sector both in the hills and valley .
He further expressed profound gratitude to the State Govt for appointing him legitimately as the Director.
